Where To Send Your Item
Details on how to pack & where to send your personal items for a signing, and the Terms & Conditions for mailing items in are as follows.

Sending In Your Item
It is extremely important to follow the instructions below to ensure that your item arrives to us fully prepared and ready to be signed by your guest of choice...
- Pack your item very well to protect it during it's journey to us. Recycling and reusing packaging such as old boxes, envelopes & tubes etc that have been through the postal system multiple times increases the likelihood of damage occurring due to potential previous trauma to the packaging. If you are sending us a valuable item, then please consider double boxing or tubing it and using bubble wrap. PLEASE NOTE: If your item arrives in a damaged package, we will NOT reuse it to return the item to you, and you will be billed for additional packaging fees when it comes time to return it.
- Please write your full name and address on the outer packaging. Please also attach a post-it with your full name and address to the items you wish to be signed, please be aware that non-brand Post-It Notes are liable to fall off so try to use official branded ones plus masking tape.
- Each of your items should be also be clearly labelled with instructions for pen colour, placement requests and any personalisation/quotations required PLEASE NOTE: if a personalisation or quotation is chargeable by the guest you will be informed before making any payments. Your instructions can again be placed onto a Post-It Note (again official branded type only are recommended), with a placement arrow and description and pen colour preference. If no request for placement and pen colour is made by you, then we will use our best judgement.
- If you require insurance on your item, you must purchase it prior to sending it to us. We will insure each package being shipped out for the purchase amount only. If you require additional insurance to be included above what the order amount is, please email us at merchandise@monopolyevents.co.uk to discuss this.
- If you choose to send your item in a package that’s bigger or heavier than something that is standard for an item of that dimension, you will be invoiced for any additional shipping & handling fees that are required to safely return the parcel back to you in the same packaging, again, if we have to replace packaging, we will bill you for such.
- The use of any GPS trackers is strictly prohibited for all send-in items. This is considered a security risk for both our staff and the celebrities we contract to do signings with. If a GPS tracker is discovered, it will be deactivated and discarded. All of our despatched items are sent with full tracking, and you should send the item to us in the same way for peace of mind.
- Funkos must be posted flat or incur extra shipping charges.
- Items must be received 3 days before the event in question, please check the event pages for the exact dates.
- You can request a certain type of pen, but please don’t send in your own. In many cases we will carry the type and colour you need to events.
International Orders
If you are sending an item to us from outside of the UK, we will contact you to let you know the full price of your order including return shipping as this will change depending on the item and weight of item.
Please also note that for international orders, you may be liable to pay duty and tax on your item, which is determined by your local customs authority and collected by the carrier prior to delivery.
Monopoly Events Send-In Service Policy
When placing an order for any send-in item with Monopoly Events, you are electronically agreeing to the following terms & conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse any send-in item for any reason. This rule is in place for us to refuse objectionable items, or any item not included as an option to select when placing your order. If you have any questions about the item you wish to have signed then please email us at merchandise@monopolyevents.co.uk prior to placing your order. If you send a non-approved item, it will be returned, and only the signing fee will be refunded. Return shipping will not be refunded.
While we will always strive to accommodate any specific colour or signature placement requests, we are not responsible for the wrong colour or pen requested accidentally being used by the guest. Additionally, we are not responsible if the guest decides to sign in a different location than was requested by you.
We are not be responsible for any actor pen mishaps, smudges, feathering, etc.
We are extremely careful with all items. However, it is possible that while handling an item before, during or after it’s signed, the actor may have an issue with the pen, and/or other damage could occur, for which we will not be responsible.
We are not responsible for any damage to your item during transit to us or damage/loss during the return trip back to you, any claims will be against the shipping company.
If we have to pay a tariff fee to receive your package, or if we receive an invoice after we’ve already accepted your package, we’ll simply invoice you for the amount we are charged. If this fee is not paid in a timely manner, the contents of the package may not be signed and will be held pending payment of the invoice.
